 Midwifery Care & Home Birth offer substantial savings over medical models of care and hospital birth.  This is largely due to the elimination of an expensive hospitalization but is also because of the midwifery focus on prevention & wellness without an over reliance on technology that hasn’t proven to be of value for the low risk pregnancy.
